Alleghany Community Television will soon be a certified 501 (c)(3) organization and all donations will be tax-deductible.
But, there are other reasons to consider ACTV. Since the station is a product of the A. Anderson Huber cyber campus, we work closely with the Alleghany County Public Schools. All work at the station is performed by students attending Alleghany High School.
Students get experience in video photography, editing, programming, sales, and all other jobs involved with the management of a television station. Their work is supervised by Station Manager Charlie Scott and Station Director Travis Sturgill.
Donations to ACTV support a program that is being replicated all across the mountain region and beyond.
